Hi Competitors and Competitors Parents,

I am very happy to inform you that at the Piltown Open this weekend (2nd of March) we did really well:

Miles got 2 nd in kata and 3 rd in kumite in his category and concerning there were lots of entries (with some good level fighters) it is I would say quite good. Ben was fighting like I have never seen him before, really focused and with a very good rhythm and distance. Although he lost his second fight he did make me proud to say he is my/our student. Harry Lyons is also getting there, but need more experience. Little Frankie, who in my opinion is born for fighting, was astonishing (again), easily won his category without any doubt…. 3 fights 3 wins. Adri entered in kata and kumite in her category and won both (very easily) and entered the black belt kumite and won it fast and easily as well. Karen could not participate as she injured her back, but came to support her son and our team. Thank you Karen.

I was yesterday a very proud coach, so thank you kids/Adri and parents Gavin, Karen and Senta for supporting the WTKO-Hombu dojo team and “sacrifising your Sunday”, as it was a long drive, long day.

Osu,

Sensei Palma
